Kasbah Azul is one of our most popular guest-houses en-route to the Sahara Desert. Situated approx. 2km from the town of Agdz, and its dates market, it is about half-way to the great dunes of Erg Chigaga from Marrakech on the Draa River valley.
Kasbah Azul has just 7 rooms and suites, Moroccan/European owned & managed it offers superb hospitality in a very rural part of the pre-Sahara. The food is a clever blend of traditional recipes and French dishes, and guests can enjoy dining outside in the lush gardens next to the swimming pool.

The Kasbah has 1 hectare of grounds, and cultivates its own vegetables and fruit. The gardens are perfumed by jasmine and orange blossom, depending on the season. The tall date palm trees offer an impressive and sheltering backdrop. The guest-house has been constructed using earth, following the typical techniques of kasbahs in the region, yet its interiors are bright and colourful.
We find that the Kasbah Azul appeals to both families and couples alike. There are large family suites, or inter-connecting rooms, or more romantic options for honeymooners. Sylvie & Nasser, the owners, know how to cater for any special occasion!
