Dar Les Sirenes is an old medina home (‘dar’) next to Essaouira’s ramparts which now offers five guest rooms. The Dar has been completely restored by Italian architect Edoardo Miotti. Dar Les Sirenes blends contemporary and ethnic styles throughout and each of the rooms has a distinct character (the two suites have open fireplaces).

Edoardo has also used traditional Moroccan materials (tadelakt and thuja) and soft colours to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Unexpected external openings give additional space and light in the house. The rooms are located on the first and second floor of the house. They are heated and cosy and each have a private bathroom with a shower or bathtub.

By day enjoy the sun on the large roof terrace and by night relax in front of the fire in the living room on the ground floor (or in the privacy of your suite).

The Dar’s team can prepare tasty snacks during the day and traditional Moroccan evening meals. The added bonus – if you are lucky you can also enjoy a complete Italian menu!
