SummaryShim

This six-day private journey links Marrakech and Fes through some of southern Morocco’s most varied landscapes. Travelling by private Toyota Land Cruiser with an English-speaking driver, you cross the High Atlas Mountains, explore the Ait Ben Haddou region, and continue south towards the remote Erg Chigaga dunes.

Two nights in the Sahara provide time not only for sunset walks and camel trekking, but also a full leisure day within Iriqui National Park. The route then follows the Draa Valley through palm groves, kasbah landscapes and oasis settlements before reaching Agdz. Continuing north-east, you visit the impressive Todra Gorge and spend a final night in a characterful rural guest-house.

Accommodation combines charming guest-houses with your chosen desert camp style, including an option with private bathrooms. The pace is medium to heavy due to longer driving sections. Best suited to couples, families and friends, this tour runs particularly well between September and May.
